At some point....

...I will update this blog again (like for real update, with kid photos/milestones/events and such). But, right now I am not too worried about it. I am coming off of an awesome weekend that my heart so desperately needed. We had a church women's retreat in Fredericksburg last weekend and it was wonderful.
I went expecting to have my cup filled...but instead it was emptied, from the bottom. And this is a good thing. It was emptied of some stuff I had let build up that needed to be gone.
Also discovered my new favorite passage on the trip...Psalm 32.

I am still processing and sort of floating around this week doing this, that and the other. But feeling tremendously blessed by it all. And finally taking time to actually listen to God and hear what he's trying to tell me.

I took all of two photos this weekend...the exact same people in each one!
This is Marcy Patty (my roomie for the trip) and our friend Ellen Agan.

Was pretty blessed to come home to these fellas. Aren't they sweet?
The dinosaurs were super welcoming as well.

It's not a real welcome home without dinosaurs. ;)

What a cute welcome home crew!

We had our women's retreat in Fredericksburg a few years ago. It's a beautiful place! Love it when I come away from a retreat thinking and thinking and thinking:)

Kristi, I'm so glad you had such a wonderful retreat! It looks like you were in the company of some lovely ladies and what a fun welcome home! What a sweet, sweet blessing!! And yes Psalm 32 is a wonderful passage to humble and then lift up, I love it.

It was such an amazing weekend! It truly, truly changed my life! I don't think anybody can truly understand that unless they were there. So glad that we shared such an awesome weekend together! God is good!!

I am sooo glad that you came on the retreat. I wish we could do that several times a year (although the hubbies might not be up for it):) You are such a sweet friend and amazing mom. I'm blessed to know you.
